About the Author

last update 3/7/20

The research and development of this site was compiled by one man who was inspired by past events and struggles in his life to pursue this research. The author is not affiliated with any religious group, science group or political group, so there was no bias in his willingness to search for the true meaning of the scriptures. No money was collected for the research or hosting of this website and no profit is desired or expected from its readers. The author has no agenda except to share this great understanding he has discovered through the process of reverse engineering the human mind and the wisdom he has received through a very thorough reading of scripture. It is his hope that it will be a blessing to its readers, their families, friends, religions, and countries. Because of what he has learned through suffering, he humbly has dedicated his time purely for the benefits of all mankind and to the glory of its Creator, the Engineer in whom he now puts all his trust. For the purpose of guiding you, the author feels it would be beneficial to refer to him by the biblical name of Adon (which is similar to his birth name). Let me explain. When you read scripture, it is common for people to be called by a new name, a name that represents their new mission in helping others.
For example.
Genesis 17:5 Your name is no longer to be Abram. Instead your name will be Abraham [which means Father of Multitude], since I'll make you the father of many nations
Genesis 17-15 Then God said to Abraham, "As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah [Princess] shall be her name"
Genesis 32:28 He said, "Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel; for you have striven with God and with men and have prevailed."
Genesis 41:45 Then Pharaoh named Joseph Zaphenath-paneah.
Genesis 35:10 God said to him, "You shall no longer be called Jacob, But Israel shall be your name." Thus He called him Israel. God also said to him, "I am God Almighty; Be fruitful and multiply; A nation and a company of nations shall come from you, And kings shall come forth from you.
Acts 13:9 But Saul, who was also known as Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit
Matthew 1:21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
Genesis 17:19 God replied, “No! Your wife Sarah will give you a son, and you will name him Isaac [which means "He Laughs" because Sarah laughed when the Lord told her she will conceive a child at age 80]
Acts 4:36 Joseph, a descendant of Levi, had been born on the island of Cyprus. The apostles called him Barnabas, which means “son of encouragement.”

So Adon, in Hebrew (אָדוֹן) means lord. It doesn't mean "The Lord" who is the creator, it means master or teacher.

1 Peter 3:6
like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord.

Think of it like you would a coach who you must respect and listen to, even when they discipline you. One that you respect and trust is the one you will follow. Does a coach give up his time to teach you so you can do everything wrong and still expect to win a championship. No, a coach trains you to be a champion. If you don't trust your coach and do the hard work, you will be thrown off the team.

Lord vs "The Lord" vs Adoni

This is a great time to clairfy the understanding behind the words lord, and The Lord, as this topic is quite misunderstood by many religions. Maybe on purpose, but most likely just due to generations of misguided teaching. See, the title, lord Jesus does not mean that Jesus is actually "The Lord" who came down from heaven in a human body. The confusion is due to the translators of the Bible who decided it would be better to remove the Creator's name from the scripture. The Creator's name in the Old Testament (from the Hebrew Bible Tanakh) is recorded with the four letters YHWH, which is apparently missing its vowels. Because of this, there is much controversy over the saying of the name and some translators of the Bible decided to use Hashem (which means "the name") or "The Lord" in place of YHWH. Others decided to guess at what the missing vowels could be and chose to use the name Yahweh instead of YHWH. Others still decided to convert Yahweh to English as the name Jehova. With all these translations, the word lord becomes misunderstood when the word lord is used along with YHWH in the original text. They cannot mean the same thing. Here is an example.
Example of "Lord" being used in conjunction with Jesus:

Matthew 17:4 New International Version (NIV)
Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here.

Matthew 17:4 American Standard Version (ASV)
And Peter answered, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here

Matthew 17:4 Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB)
And Kefa said in reply to Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach, Adoni, it is good for us to be here.

Adoni is Hebrew for lord used as a teacher or master.

Now here is an example of "The Lord" used in conjunction with the Creator:

Exodus 10:8 New International Version (NIV)
Then Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh. “Go, worship the Lord your God,” he said. “But tell me who will be going.”

Exodus 10:8 American Standard Version (ASV)
And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve Jehovah your God; but who are they that shall go?

Exodus 10:8 Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB)
And Moshe and Aharon were brought again unto Pharaoh; and he said unto them, Go, serve Hashem Eloheichem; but who are they that shall go?

If you notice, the ASV uses Jehovah when referring to GOD and Lord when referring to Jesus, while the OJB uses Hashem when referring to GOD and Adoni when referring to Jesus. And the NIV uses "The Lord" when refering to GOD and "Lord" when referring to Jesus. Now just to follow up, when Sarah called Abraham "lord", what name would she use in Hebrew?

1 Peter 3:6 Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB)
Sarah submitted in mishma’at (obedience) to Avraham Avinu, calling him ADONI

Here is another from Joseph when he was put in charge of Egypt

Genesis 45:9 (NIV)
Now hurry back to my father and say to him, ‘This is what your son Joseph says: God has made me lord of all Egypt.

Genesis 45:9 Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB)
Haste ye, and go up to Avi, and say unto him, Thus saith thy ben, Yosef, Elohim hath made me as adon kol Mitzrayim;

I hope you can follow this now. That is why I read many translations. This is a very sensitive subject for some and another reason for religions to be divided. My personal feeling is that the Creator does have a name but he just doesn't want us to use it. He wants us to call him "Father" and respect and follow him as our "spiritual" father. This will help us accept his laws and his punishments. For what father does not discipline his children for their own benifit.

Proverbs 3:11-12
My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in

Would it not be disrespectful to call your earthly father by his actual name? I think it would show him disrespect if you call him by his actual name, that's why I feel that he didn't give us the vowels. To call him by his name, as perceived in our mind, is like thinking of him as just a friend. If we think of the Lord as just a friend, we will not fear him and he won't be able to help you stop from your sin. I know I feared my own father and that stopped me from getting into trouble or trying drugs.

Exodus 20:20
Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.”

Just my thoughts on the subject. I suggest you read up on the Tetragrammaton and make your own decision on this one.

Jeremiah 3:19
I myself said, ‘How gladly would I treat you like my children and give you a pleasant land, the most beautiful inheritance of any nation.’ I thought you would call me ‘Father’ and not turn away from following me.

Isaiah 53:11
"After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will make many to be accounted righteous"

Personal Life: The author is an aerospace engineer with a degree in mechanical engineering from Villanova University. He is also a designer and a software developer. He is married 34 years to the woman he met in high school. He has two sons aged 30 and 27. His mother's father was a descendant of Israel and her mother, a descendant of the Pilgrims. One of her descendants was William Rittenhouse, the first Mennonite minister in America.  The author's father was of Italian descent and raised him as a Catholic (a faith he no longer practices).  His father went to church religiously every Sunday and brought the children along, usually unwillingly. His father never read the Bible and didn't teach any scripture to his family, but did have a strong moral sense of character and was well respected in the community.  At college, he rarely attended weekly mass due primarily to his professors teaching him that humans evolved. Religion seemed pointless. Thankfully, he finally did his own research and he hopes to inspire you to read the Bible as well.  So the author is an Italian Jew, which is similar to the background of Apostle Paul, who was also a Jew and Roman citizen.

The events that led to all this research are a very long story in itself. There are many signs that led him on this path, it was not a path he chose freely. There was a car accident which he and his family hydroplaned in the rain, then crossed five lanes of traffic while driving backwards at over 60 mph. The car proceeded to stop gently in the shoulder with no injuries and struck no other vehicles. There was that double rainbow which appeared during the first family gathering, shortly after his father's death. The day his family had first gathered at their vacation home in Maine, the first time without their father. An hour after his sister told the family to look for rainbows and butterflies as a sign from God that their dad is OK in heaven.

Genesis 9:13
I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth

There were several occasions that butterflies landed on his shoulder when he was looking for a sign in Brooklyn. He needed to make an important decision, a decision on where to send his son who was struggling at school. Everyone thought he was foolish to allow his son to attend a high school in Brooklyn where he would be the only white student in the school. But he trusted in these signs and let him go; despite many warnings that his son could be killed. But just the opposite happened; the students at the new school embraced his son and watched over him. And this experience became a turning point in his son's life, even his own life would be changed by all the kindness he received from the people. This is a story he hopes to share with the world, a story that could end the nation's racial divide. Then one day his son hands him a Bible asking for help with his born again girlfriend, the Bible that changed his life. The Bible that connected him to the meaning behind all of these events, and many tragedies and deaths which he had witnessed in his life. These tragedies were all strangely connected to him in one way, they happened to those who had cursed him when he was just trying to bring fairness to his town's youth sports programs. They all seemed innocent at the time but, it was this connection with his past and these biblical stories of the patriarch's that really drew him into the scriptures.  This scripture really made him feel that there was a bigger purpose for all these signs.

Genesis 12:3
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

Like the story of Joseph he even suffered because of his father's favoritism, as his older sister hated him. This led to the discovery in his ancestry that he was a descendant of Levi, whose decedents were Moses and Aaron (the first anointed high priest). The Levites were assigned the responsible for teaching the Lord's Law (the Torah, the first five books of the Bible), the law that he was beginning to finally understand. Then he finds out that his mother hid the fact that he was a Jew because she was afraid that someone may kill him. This sounded like what happened to Moses. Interestingly, on the tombstone of his great grandparents he finds the names of Moses' only two sons.

There is much more to this story and I will write the whole story and post it in the near future. Check back soon.

Isaiah 66:5
Hear the word of the Lord, “Your own people who hate you, and exclude you because of my name, have said, ‘Let the Lord be glorified, that we may see your joy!’ Yet they will be put to shame.
